This bag kit is an economic alternative to a vacuum bottle but can only be used for peritoneal drainage in conjunction with the Asept peritoneal drainage catheter since it relies on gravity rather than vacuum for fluid drainage
The 2,000-mL bag is packaged sterilely, ten units to a case and has an extended drain line with the Asept connector attached to the end of the line for easy catheter connection and drainage, and a pull valve on the bottom of the bag for easy fluid release and evacuation
